What We Offer

The majority of our collection at A Vintage Affair is 60+ years old and contains many unique and timeless items. We can cater for up to 150 guests and have a large collection of crockery, cutlery, glassware, tablecloths and serviettes. Our personal service includes a friendly chat to see what items you like and to answer any questions you may have.

All of our vintage collection is packed in organised easy to open containers. We also offer a styling service to set up your tables to enable you to make the most of your day. The cost of this is charged at £10 per hour.

The standard hire period at A Vintage Affair is for 1-3 days – how long is up to you. We can deliver on the day, or the day before the event and collect either at the end of your event or the following day. Afternoon Tea

The only way to enjoy afternoon tea is with antique tea cups and saucers. We have a range of gorgeous china which is ideal if you would like to organise an afternoon tea for your friends and family.

Terms & Conditions

Cleaning

There is no need to wash anything for us, as we prefer to do this ourselves because all of the items are old and they cannot be put into a dishwasher. Please just scrape the plates, rinse the cups and lay them carefully in the crates. All items are very delicate and cannot be used with microwaves or dishwashers.

Payment

A deposit of 50% will be paid upon booking, and the remaining 50% will be paid 30 days prior to the event, along with a £100 refundable damage deposit plus delivery charges (if applicable).

Damages

The damage deposit will be refunded within 3 days of the return of the hired items and will be subject to a full inventory check.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel for any reason, a full refund will be given if notice is received at least 30 days prior to your event. If notice is received within 7-29 days a 50% refund will be given. Refunds will not be given for cancellations within 7 days of your event.
